The Bryce Clifford shoot began as a birthday gift but was approached as a professional artist portrait session that could give him images with a life beyond the occasion. We photographed at The Cotton Factory in Hamilton, using the industrial character, natural light and varied spaces of the location to create a collection of portraits that felt atmospheric, musical and distinctly his own.

Use The Cotton Factory as more than a backdrop, working with its texture, architecture and available light to create a range of moods within one location. The session focused on expression, composition and atmosphere, creating photographs that could stand on their own while also working comfortably within promotional and editorial layouts.

THE RESULT

The photographs became more than a birthday gift. Images from the session were used for artist promotion and reached a wider audience through editorial coverage, including prominent placement in The Hamilton Spectator’s entertainment section. The shoot produced a durable collection of portraits that could represent Bryce both personally and professionally.
